This academic work by Shyambhavi Shukla, was a part of the studio ‘Re-imagining the Vernacular Past’. The studio was an attempt to study the vernacular furniture of Gujarat and Rajasthan and understand the shift in the way these furniture types are perceived within the urban context. By developing a new perception and imaginary contextualization, students designed an immersive experiential exhibition.
