This newsletter presents the findings from the first field visit in Rajasthan which was conducted in the Barmer, Jalore, Pali and Sirohi districts of South-West Rajasthan. The team travelled 1675 kilometres and visited 14 places in the region. A total of 143 vernacular furniture items were mapped. The places visited were – Barmer, Chauhtan, Dhanau, Dighda Gadab, Falna, Ghanerao.Gol, Jalore, Konara, Mahabar, Marudi, Sirohi and Sodiyaar.
