This newsletter presents the findings from the fifth field visit in Punjab. This field visit was conducted in June 2019. The team travelled 2740 kilometres and visited 33 places in the regions of Barnala, Mansa Moga, Nawanshahr, Ludhiana and Sangrur districts of Punjab. A total of 535 vernacular furniture items were mapped. The places visited were – Badhni Kalan, Begowal, Bhikhi, Budh Singh Wala, Burj Teheldas, Dhangarh, Dhaula, Dhuri, Dilawarpur, Elwal, Jagraon, Jhanda Kalan, Karyal, Kattu, Khatara, Khatkar Kalan, Khyala Kalan, Ludhiana, Malerkotla, Mansa Khurd, Mansa, Nangal Kalan, Nihal Singh Wala, Pharwali, Phul Makauri, Rahon, Samadh Bahi, Sardulewala Sukhpura Maur, Thathiala, Upli, and Zira.
