This newsletter presents the findings from the third field visit in Punjab. This field visit was conducted in November 2018. The team travelled 3230 kilometres and visited 28 places in the regions of Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot and Tarn Taran districts of Punjab. A total of 453 vernacular furniture items were mapped. The places visited were – Ajnoha, Bahmni, Behrampur, Bunga, Chauhal, Chitti Pind, Dehriwal, Dera Baba Nanak, Dholbaha, Goindwal, Gunopur, Gurdaspur, Hansawala, Hariana, Haryal, Hoshiarpur, Jhander, and Khaara, Khaasan wali, MehdipurNarot Mahal, Naushehra, Pathankot, Saleran, Sherpura, Simbli, Tarn Taran and Thathi.
