This academic work is a thesis report produced by Jay Shah as a part of a Directed Research Project, that was conducted as part of the research of vernacular furniture of Rajasthan. Paata, community benches that are part of the walled city in Bikaner, were studied as part of this project. This thesis was guided by Mansi S Rao.
