This report presents the findings related to the vernacular furniture pieces in The South Asia Collection in Norwich, UK whose provenance are from Rajasthan. The short research was intended towards making a key contribution to the collaborative project “Vernacular Furniture of North-West India”. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used to study the museum pieces based on the fieldwork carried out in Rajasthan. This short research was carried out by Mansi S Rao with the help of a fellowship grant from the Charles Wallace India Trust and Simon Digby Memorial Charity in 2017.
