A hanger is also known as balingna in some regions of Punjab. This balingna was a long piece of bamboo suspended from the ceiling using a rope on one end and a cloth on the other end. Clothes, a walking stick and belts were hung from the balingna. There was a hook attached to one end with containers and plastic bags hung from it.
