This takhat, believed to be around 70 years old, was kept in the tibari (a corridor space in a haveli, accessed from the courtyard, that is separated by a wall with three archways). It was made of sheesham wood. The frame was intricately carved and the wooden supports between the frame and turned legs were carved in the shape of a peacock. This takhat was no longer in use.
