This sandook was brought from Rajpur Cheba village during the owner’s wedding. As she recollected, sandook and other furniture which formed a part of the bridal trousseau was carried in a bullock cart from her village to her new home. Her family had commissioned the sandook to be made by an artisan in Chitti village around 65 years ago.
