This peti almari was placed next to a sandook in this house. As informed by the locals, peti almari was given to a woman in her bridal trousseau instead of a sandook. In this case, the sandook belonged to the eldest lady of the house whereas the peti almari was brought by her daughter-in-law in her daaj. Ceramic tiles were used to decorate this chest.
