This manja was brought to the house from Punjab as a part of the bridal trousseau of the grandmother of the family. Such heavy girth legs with red and yellow lacquer work was a characteristic feature of the work of craftspeople from Punjab. The manja was currently being used in the baithak of the house to seat guests.
