A fabric quilt was laid out on this manja and another quilt was placed on it, which was used to cover oneself with. A makeshift mosquito net was placed over this manja by fixing the bamboo supports of the net to the legs of the manja. It was placed in one of the rooms of the house and was used only to sleep on.
