This manja was left behind in the possession of the present owners, by their neighbours (a Muslim family) who had migrated to Pakistan, in the hope of returning someday. When they did not return, the present owners had started using it themselves. The original webbing, made of leather, had been recently replaced with cotton ropes. The legs and frame made of sheesham wood, however, have been kept as is.
