This kuthla was bigger in size than the previous one. Once the grains were filled, the top was sealed off using mud plaster. A hole was provided at the bottom, to extract the grains, which was also sealed. The mud plaster would be scraped off and the grains would be collected in a dhakoli (basket) for everyday use.
