In southern Rajasthan, in the Dungarpur district, a kotha is a form of granary built into the structure of a house. The walls of the kotha had been built by the men of the family from kachi eet (local sunbaked bricks of mud and horse or donkey dung). It was divided into different compartments to store different grains. Now, it was used to store only paddy.
