This stone khuti, carved in a peacock shape, was fixed in the verandah of the house near the parhendi (water pitcher storage). During the summer, water pots are kept in the parhendi while sieve and an indi (pot ring) are hung on the khuti. The wall on which khuti was fixed was green in colour which was plastered with lime some time ago, leaving the khuti as is.
