This indi was hung on a turned wooden khuti (wall peg) in the gher (cattle shed) of this residence. It was used to place baskets filled with dung or pots with milk collected from the cows. Such indi are used only for this purpose and not used for other everyday activities like fetching water or to place vessels in the kitchen.
