This hookhi was made from sheesham wood around twenty-five years ago. A metal strip is curved and welded between the top of the tanki and the start of the neh. It creates a gap to insert the index finger, maintaining the hold on the entire hookti while smoking it. Jaggery is mixed with tobacco to add a hint of sweetness while smoking. It was used by the eldest woman in the family.
