This chakki was brought from Kanpur in Himachal Pradesh by the family and was kept on a shelf in the storeroom. It was made entirely of dressed stone. The bottom stone was made wide to form the base in which a cavity was carved out, all around, for collecting the flour. A red sacred thread was tied on the handle during an auspicious occasion.
