As almari are used to store various objects, it is provided with a latch to lock the shutters when something valuable is stored. The shutters of this almari were kept closed using only a small wooden peg fixed on the top as it contained household objects and crockery. The peg held the shutters in a closed position without locking. This almari was recorded in the bedroom of the house.
