A pair of aala were recorded in a chaupal of Mandkola village. During power disruptions, these aala were still used to place earthen lamps at night when people would gather for meetings. A pair of khuti (wall peg) was fixed on the sides of the aala to hang bags or walking sticks carried by elderly people.
