This newsletter presents the findings from the sixth field visit in Gujarat which was conducted in the districts of Surat and Valsad and the Union territory of Daman, South Gujarat. The team travelled 980 kilometres and visited seven places in the region. A total of 38 vernacular furniture items were mapped. The places visited were – Daman, Hanuman Bhagda, Saronda, Surat, Udvada, Valsad and Vapi.
