A madani usually has an arrangement for the height to be adjusted, depending on the depth of the pot. The horizontal member at the top holds the churner in place with a simple pin and hole mechanism. The height is adjusted by moving this member up or down. A pin is slotted through the holes on the vertical members to hold the churner in place as per the required height.
